"The staff and manager at this hotel are beyond expectations, very friendly, so helpful and kind. The pool is absolutely amazing. It’s a five minute free shuttle that runs every 20 minutes. The pool must be at least 40 m or more long. It’s huge and it’s beautiful set right on the side of the beach. I highly recommend this hotel."

"We stayed on board one night and then in a lovely bungalow at Catba Sandy Beach Resort the second. The staff, food? And service were wonderful both nights. The boat however, was due to be retired. I should add that there are many others in this condition. Look closelywhen you book."

"The ship is definitely older but functional. Friendly staff and helpful. Bring water as they charge for it through the cruise (all beverages are for sale). They need to improve their timetable as all boats are trying to do the same activities at the same time leading to the sites being extremely crowded (the second morning the sites were empty!). Overall worth it but if I was to go again, I would do a longer cruise or a day cruise."

"We had a wonderful vacation in here. I really enjoyed the fresh air at the resort, it has a beautiful beach, it is very clean and quite peaceful. The reception staff were very enthusiastic and supportive, providing us with a lot of useful information about the surrounding facilities, we were really warmly welcomed during our stay here. Although the hotel is in the process of upgrading, our room had a very nice view of the sea. We will definitely come back next summer."

"Es ist auf jeden Fall zu empfehlen, eine Nacht in der Halongbay zu bleiben, da am Abend und Morgen die Massen an Touristen etwas weniger sind. Im Gesamt muss man jedoch sagen, dass die Bucht völlig überlaufen ist, was wirklich schade ist. Auf dem Boot hat aber alles gepasst, Essen war gut und der Service auch. Abholung vom Hotel in Hanoi und Retour hat perfekt geklappt, allerdings sind die An- und Abreise von Hanoi sehr zeitaufwendig. Nicht wegen der langen Fahrzeit (das wussten wir vorher, das...
