"We had a really nice relaxing break. In fact to point that i may book every few months to get a break. Could do with a few more staff in the bar, but the breakfast was excellent. Room a good size and very comfortable. The evening restaurant food was very good as well and service excellent. Check in was quick and simple. The hotel offered everything we needed. It was a very hot weekend so air con in rooms would have been good. But the air con in the bar and restaurant was perfect. "

"This is a lovely hotel in a beautiful place, with really friendly staff and everything you may need for a getaway or a celebration. Air conditioning in the room was perfect. The only con I’d mention about the room is dirty windows. Peacocks can be a bit loud but do add to the vibe"

"The hotel is set in lovely grounds and is a friendly place, the rooms are in a new part of the complex not the building from the 1500’s which was good!! I love soft beds, it was the best sleep I’ve had in a hotel since forever, even in the heatwave heat! "
