"Wengen is a wonderful home base for exploring the area, you are closer to Jungfrau to get there early before the crowds. We loved the nearby restaurants. The Mannlichen gondola is incredible, a must-do when staying in Wengen. The staff were professional and the breakfast was superb. Our bed was quite comfortable. The hotel is just across from the train station, so an easy walk. We would stay there again."

"It was excellent. We do have concerns about the safety of the bathtub. We recommend installing more grab bars and non slip strips. It is a high tub and sides are curved. Presents a high risk for falls. We are seniors ourselves and have extensive experience in geriatrics. Also recommend improved lighting in the rooms and stairways. "The hotel was in a great location, but what was not explained was that the actual building where most of the rooms are, is located in a building behind the main hitel and that none of the rooms in that building have air conditioning. Also, parking at the hotel is some what complex as they park in a little alley behind the main hotel."

"One of the best mountain hotels i have seen, perfect balance of luxury & nature with wooden theme rooms. You cannot go wrong with this, it will be expensive & its is the only Hotel on BORT station, food is delicious but expensive. "We loved our stay at the Edelweiss. The entire staff was so helpful. The room was very clean and quiet. Our favorite part of the stay were the wonderful 4 course dinners served each night. We ended up eating there all 3 nights we stayed. Dinners were delicious and very well priced. We hope to come back to the Edelweiss again someday!"
