"I wanted to a romantic, traditional mountain retreat and the Auberge was perfect. Our room had a small garden where we could sit and have a coffee and stare at Mont Blanc and watch the sun and moon light the peaks. The room is cozy and the bathroom has a whirlpool type bathtub. "We were so happy with this historical hotel, wonderful location, 2-5 minutes walking distance to center square Chamonix! Friendly staff, service were wonderful, afternoon free cake, it was delicious French pastries style, coffee 24/7, wooden interiors design was my favorite! "Cute property close to the main town. Rooms were a decent size, bathroom was tiny and not enough towels. Wifi patchy in the rooms. Some rooms not the most convenient to get to - eg up a very narrow flight of stairs then down another. This was tricky to navigate with luggage and a little unsafe."

"A beautiful location at a golf club. Out our balcony we could see golfers below and the backside of Mont Blanc plus other mountains above. The staff was friendly and helpful, complete with drawing me a map so that I could find the *free* tram (with hotel voucher) back to Chamonix. A couple of good restaurants nearby. "Super nuitée dans cette hôtel en plein centre de Chamonix. Il est à quelques mètres de la rue piétonne principale. Les chambres ont tout le nécessaire, la literie est très confortable.
