"Me and my wife shared an absolutely superb 3 nights at Le Grand Montets Hotel. The location itself is in a very peaceful Argentière. Wry warm welcome from the staff on arrival. The hotel is beautiful, typically Savoie with lots of cool decorations throughout. The spa is great for winding down at the end of a busy day. "A beautiful hotel in a very quiet and secluded area. Very friendly staff that offered us a free upgrade and great advice about what to do and where to hike. The restaurant is also wonderful with probably one of the beat wine lists I've seen. Bravo! You must have a car to get to this place however. If you want to be close to Chamonix (but not IN Chamonix) it's perfect!"
