We were so happy with this historical hotel, wonderful location, 2-5 minutes walking distance to center square Chamonix! Friendly staff, service were wonderful, afternoon free cake, it was delicious French pastries style, coffee 24/7, wooden interiors design was my favorite! I’m sure we’ll return to stay again next when we miss Mont Blanc, this hotel is our Chamonix home !

The hotel acts as a convenient base to explore Chamonix and the surrounding area. It has all the basics needed with good size rooms. All the staff were friendly and helpful. Although there are no tea or coffee facilities in the room, the hotel does provide hot and cold drinks in the lobby, and cake at 1600 each day is a nice touch. There was a good breakfast selection, and some excellent local produce.

Wonderful place, right near town center, with the feel of a warm ski lodge. Sits next to a stream with a view of the mountains. Probably the most friendly and helpful staff group I have experienced in recent memory.
