Expect it to be small like typical Tokyo hotel rooms. However, the bed was comfortable and it served its purpose for a place for us to sleep since we were mostly out and about. The location is extremely convenient. Close to the subway station, Ueno Park, and many places to eat and shop.

Although the room is the size of a shoebox, it has the basics for most needs. Location is dynamite. We had an upper floor room, which was very quiet and clean. We did use the laundry machines in the lobby which were very easy to use, although instructions were in Japanese. The staff to speak English, and is very helpful. There is also a pillow bar across from the check in desk with a variety of pillows but do pick them as you check in since they seem to run out later on the day.

Room was clean but small, typical in Tokyo in the price range. Very good location for travelers going to/coming from Narita airport as the hotel is close to JR and Keisei stations. You can walk to Ueno park, zoo and museum complex.

This is a fine property excellently located across the street from Ueno Station. It is a very short walk from the Zoo, Museums, cherry blossom viewing, much shopping and restaurants. On the circular Yamenote train line, it is easy to explore Tokyo without having to switch lines. The rooms were perfectly clean, of adequate size and extremely quiet. I would absolutely stay here again!

Good place to stay in Ueno. Our room was small but big enough for two people with two suitcases each and a lot of shopping. I especially liked how close it was to Ueno station and how it was a quieter district of Tokyo. The staff can speak English and are very friendly and eager to help you. The price was great as well, would stay again :)

Hotel with small room, but great location
Staff is super nice and helpful and location is great. Room is small as expected. You can see the sky tree tower from the roof top, but the view is a bit blocked. They can keep your luggage in the storage before check-in and after check-out, if needed. They can also keep your luggage in the storage if you have a day trip spending a night elsewhere and then come back to this hotel.

I felt the hotel was a decent location but there were some areas of the hotel that felt it was a little damaged like the elevator which made the hotel feel a little older. It was decent for what it is and where it’s at but overall it was good. Breakfast was the same daily and no change. It’s not a buffet but a SET menu of either Japanese or Western breakfast. Wasn’t really worth the 1,200 yen.
