"What a beautiful unique place hidden in the North Yorkshire countryside. Run by a lovely lady called Ginny who was so welcoming. She explained everything about the room, facilities and local walks. Loved the honesty shop. Had a great number of things to choose from, from hiking essentials (for sore feet!), to fresh eggs and pies. The room was perfect and very unique. "Third time we have stayed here which ought to say something. Very convenient for the A1 and the rooms are pleasant, clean and comfortable. As well as that the restaurant serve very good food at reasonable prices, as it was our final night of our holiday in Scotland and we were travelling home it was very welcome. Parking is convenient and close - just outside rooms. "
