"The hotel was fine (although having absolutely no wifi was a bit of a surprise and not ideal for the type of travelling we were doing). Because we were there in mid-April, it isn't the best time to be at a location that is catering to summer beach goers, so my rating of the location suffers a bit. This is just a matter of timing though. We had driven up from Berlin to go to Peenemunde, and this was a fine hotel to spend the night after before moving on."

"Great hotel, fantastic views, excellent spa facilities. Room excellent - spacious with cooking facilities in the private hall rather than the bedroom itself so you do not need to sleep with stale cooking smells. Very well equipped, though in summer the lack of air con may be a factor. Only downside was the pillows (though that and the lack of air con seems to be a common problem in hotels in Germany)."

"Excellent hotel with comfortable bed and plentiful breakfast. I did not use the balcony due to the weather. Guests have use of the sauna and swimming pool at the nearby VNU Hotel (at the top of the hill) for EUR15. This under repair on the first night but I did use it on the 2nd night, they do ask you to wear flip flops or other bathing shoes. The hotel is handy for the REWE supermarket and shops. "Impressed with the hotel’s professional staff who were consistently helpful. Two staff members - Ella at the front desk and Artigas in the restaurant provided exceptional service. Each went out of their way to make my stay pleasant. They both speak excellent English which helped since my German is limited. The breakfast buffet is excellent and I also enjoyed the pool and hot tub. The hotel is a bit dated but comfortable with good views of the Baltic. "

Great hotel in very good location

"The hotel has a great location. You can get by foot to the town centre in about 15 minutes and the beaches around the hotel are way less crowded than in other parts. There is also a bus station close by that will get you to Binz station as well as surrounding towns and the Rasender Roland. The hotel itself is surprisingly large with a lot of amenities on offer that we didn't have time to check, but there are plenty of restaurants and bars as well as fun activities within the hotels perimeters. The 2 room apartment is big and has everything you could need including a drying rack, pots and pans for cooking, hair dryer, and plenty of tables to eat. Only one thing to note, at least for us, the shampoo dispenser was outside the shower with no other options provided, so consider to bring your own."
