"The hotel was fine (although having absolutely no wifi was a bit of a surprise and not ideal for the type of travelling we were doing). Because we were there in mid-April, it isn't the best time to be at a location that is catering to summer beach goers, so my rating of the location suffers a bit. This is just a matter of timing though. We had driven up from Berlin to go to Peenemunde, and this was a fine hotel to spend the night after before moving on."

"We stayed one night at the Hotel Pommernland having flown in to the nearby Anklam airfield. As it was the Ascention weekend there were no taxis available so the hotel manager Eric kindly gave us a lift into town to a greek restaurant. Hotel was clean and tidy and the rooms were absolutely fine. My only criticism is that there was only 1 feather pillow supplied which was way too soft, my head sunk straight through it. Breakfast was OK."

"Die Wohnung war an sich super ausgestattet. Alles war da, was man braucht und sauber war es auch. Auffallend war der angenehme Geruch, als die Wohnung betreten wurde. Der Check-in war nicht ganz so toll. An der Rezeption konnte man sich nicht gut verständigen, da nicht so gut deutsch gesprochen wurde, was aber im Ausland auch nicht Voraussetzung ist. Es wurde aber nur ein Schlüssel in die Hand gedrückt und ein Zettel, auf dem 2 Adressen standen. Also musste man gucken, wo man überhaupt hin muss....

The rooms however are quite old and need renovation, bed was really old and uncomfortable, bath room also old. You can almost feel the old times in the corridors... The work was contained, but we were welcomed by a lady who was using the hoover and didn’t stop and made us feel in the way! We spoke to room service and the front desk 4 times over 2 days as our air conditioning stopped working. They kept saying they had fixed it & they hadn’t, also annoying....
