Total nightly fee of EUR 90 EUR for a quick driving pit stop is very poor value compared to other road hotels in France and Italy within a day's drive, which were both cheaper and much nicer (room, beds, bathrooms, surrounding areas...) The area was mediocre, the hotel is in a 'food/restaurant desert', the doors could only be closed by slamming them which meant overnight each time...

"This hotel did the job and I arrived late. No elevators for those who can't climb stairs. A gas station next door. The man at night and the woman in the morning were fine and everything worked in the hotel. I was driving and it is not walking distance to anything I could find, but very adequate. "Les Galapons was so much more than we expected. In the middle of the countryside. If you want complete silence, a reset on life in the city, this is the place to go. Sandrine and Sebastian are the perfect hosts. Food was extremely tasty, local wine was some of the best we have had and the room was delightfully decorated and spotless. "

"We picked this hotel on short notice. The hotel is spacious and very clean. It has limited amenities, and there is not much to do in the neighborhood. But still, for the price, cleanliness, comfort, and location it can't be beaten"
