"Great location within walking distance to all major sites in Lyon. Fabulous exterior. Very nice lobby and restaurant on site, with great ambiance. An excellent spa, with very attentive staff. Room service works like clockwork, better and more reliable than you'd find in any hotel. Rooms are rather basic, however; bathrooms are clean and modern, but the rest of the room feels dated and cheaply made (old carpets, cheap desks, worn out lamps, etc). One of my TVs did not work. And the gym is tiny...

"It is renoveted old house in old town. Interesting layout. From the elevator, we need to walk some spiral staircases to get to our room, not convenient. When with luggage, it is kind of dangerous. The gabage cans are very small. Whe we check in, the front desk staff was not there and door is locked. We waited in the rain. Besides these, the stay was ok."

"Amazing location, friendly service. Room was small but tidy and good enough for me. You get a fob to come in and out the time you want but the check in was confusing to me, I was expecting a reception but there was only a door and a intercom, and then another door, you have to call twice so they can let you in. The hotel is on the 2nd floor, so it’s confusing if you don’t know that. If they sent check-in instructions by email prior, I’ve never received it."

Our stay coincided with my girlfriend's 30th birthday and the staff went above and beyond to make the day special for her. The spa facilities are also great and the staff were very attentive and welcoming. The hotel is in an ideal location and great for shopping and proximity to restaurants. I can't recommend the hotel enough 10/10. "

If you get a family bedroom make sure you got a proper shower - ours was one over a bath without a shower curtain so it wasn’t the easiest to shower in without water going everywhere.
