They don´t speak other than germany and we did not manage to get anybody answering the phone. "This is a really nice hotel, in a building that is 100 years old this year. The beds are very comfortable, bathroom facilities are good, with a decent shaving mirror. The breakfast was good and was sufficient for me requiring a vegan menu, although would have liked vegan sausages, but the ham and salami substitutes made up for that.
Sadly the area around the hotel has seen better times. The U-bahn station is opposite the hotel’s main entrance and the staircases and elevators stink of urine, and could do with a visit from the Cologne City Cleansing Department.
It is also right next to Hansaring S-bahn Station which has connections to Cologne Hauptbahnhof, and other regional stations in the North Rhine-Westphalia region such as Dusseldorf, Aachen, and Koblenz which we visited using the hotel as a base to sleep and have breakfast.
It is also less than 1 mile away from the Cologne Cathedral, which is a nice walk down quiet back streets."
"Fantastic room. Spacious with sofa and a queen and a half wall and 2 more beds. A/c worked great.
We didn’t use the spa so can’t comment on that. No garage parking available as they have to festival goers. Was lucky to get a spot up front, but only until 9 the next morning. Went to pay for parking at 9:10 am and already had a parking ticket. "

"We have very enjoyed our stay at the Urban Loft. Close to train station. Staff really friendly and super helpful. We were able to do early check in and leave bags during last day. Bed was very comfortable and the shower was good. The room wasn’t huge but fine for us. The room isn’t cleaned as standard during a two night stay and we were made aware of this on check in but told we could request clean towels if wanted. Would stay again."
