The Phoenix Hotel

3.0 star property
9.0 out of 10, Wonderful, (1003)
"My very favorite place to stay whenever I'm in the city. The Tenderloin isn't exactly tourist central but that's what makes it so brilliant, with excellent little Asian restaurants and the friendliest little dive bars, not to mention easy access to everywhere via public transit. And The Phoenix is an oasis right in the middle of it all, with that lovely courtyard that feels like you've stepped back in time to a San Francisco of another era altogether. "
