"I like the design of the place, the rooms are spacious, and well positioned. The staff are fantastic and friendly. Unfortunately, the property is showing signs of age. Peeling paint in the bathroom and carpets that have sections that are rust stained or tattered. The heated pool is always a drawcard for us and the layout is great with the courtyard aspect. The pool is also in need of some cosmetic repair. I hope the property repairs it and keeps this going for future patrons. This has been a...

"Hotel is brilliantly located across from the lake and close to shopping and restaurants. Our room had a beautiful view of the lake and we were able to enjoy the incredible sunsets from our balcony. The staff were friendly, helpful and made us feel welcome. We enjoyed many meals at the restaurant attached to the hotel. The food was amazing! "

"We were arriving after check in hrs, I rang though to discuss with hotel and they were so lovely and helpful. Accommodating to our schedule perfectly. Very friendly when we meet in the morning. Have stayed a couple times now with this hotel. Recommend to friends and family for sure. 10/10 stay in Taupo!! Situated directly opposite the lake with stunning views. Gorgeous to wake up to. And our private thermal spa amazing."
