"Wonderful traditional Japanese hotel (ryokan) with hot bath downstairs. We saw so many beautiful Sakura trees on our trip but the most amazing Sakura was right outside of this hotel. Just jaw dropping! Really enjoyed our walks down the stone stairs to the small city, beautiful views and beautiful place. We even liked it more than Kyoto, so quite and authentic :) will be back!"

"It was a love hotel that became a business hotel. So it was fancy and have all the facility of a love hotel. Jacuzzi, karaoke, king size bed, without the adult toys. Cool hotel, recommended!"

"This is the best Hostel to book on any budget. Since it is also a cafe the interior is upper nice and modern looking. As in the name, the interior is all made of wood and has that amazing wood smell that makes you feel so welcomed and at peace. "I enjoyed my time walking around the area and seeing how it feels moving around in this country. It helped inform my decision to move to the country soon. It also made meeting my family easier since it’s walking distance from a major train station. The room was small and didn’t have much but personally, I don’t need much so this was perfect. "Quiet, clean and comfortable rooms with efficient and unobtrusive elevators. Well above average attractive restaurant for all three major meals. Responsive concierge services 24/7. Only a couple of the overly numerous front desk staff speak reliable English. As in all Japanese hotels I have used, very poor TV offerings in English, almost pointless. I have stayed at this hotel for two to three week stays in three of the past eight years as I have family in Tokyo. Would have been more except for stringent Japanese COVID restrictions. Entirely honest in billing. Fair costs but well above average for travelers with budget worries who should probably stay elsewhere."

"Delicious and Beautiful dinners here. A bit of a walk from the train station. They serve you breakfast and dinner at the hotel. It is so much food you should skip lunch in the middle of the day. They also offer soup 9:30-1030. I have not tried it because I start dinners late they keep me full. The place has a very nife onsen which includes an indoor bath and an outdoor bath. The train station is a bit of walk - about 10 minutes- but ince you get there it is an easy day trip to Osaka, Kyoto, or Nara park. The rice field area next to the hotel is actually an excavation area for the Nara period Imperial Palace. They are trying to rebuild the palace. It is a very unassuming World Historic Heritage site. It makes for an enjoyable walk around the park day. There are not a lot of tourists here yet. They dont charge for going in anybof the buildings. You should start at Suzaki gate. Yoh can pick up a stamp sheet where you can collect stamps from other sites in the area."
