"Had to book last minute for a layover and while not the most modern, everything was clean and breakfast was delicious. Staff was very accommodating when we requested late checkout. Each room has a garage and you go up a few flights of stairs. Very spacious, huge bathoom with massive tub, shower, and a sauna (depending on the room). Separate sitting area from bedroom with water, kettle, mini fridge, coffee, tea, etc. Highly recommend!"

"I had a very brief, but wonderful stay at the Holiday Inn Express Taoyuan. I had arrived early to Taoyuan at 11AM, and although the official check-in time is at 3PM, the recepcionist (Ann, I think was her name) was kind enough to check with housekeeping to corroborate if a room was ready so that I could have an early check-in. Fortune was on my side and I had a quick and easy early check-in. The breakfast area is small, but offers a variety of Taiwanese and Western food items, with beverages...

"Super convenient to get to this hotel from Taipei main station by taking the local train to Wanhua. The hotel is directly above the local train station. It is also about 5 mins walk from the Longshan MRT station. Hotel is clean and room facilities did not give any issues. However, the elevator can get super packed during the peak periods, due to many tour groups choosing the same hotel for their accommodation. Waited for about 10 to 15 mins at the lift lobby on our room level but still could not get into the lift. Went back to the hotel room to wait instead. That was at approx 10.30am."
