"It's a very beautiful, big and clean house in Japanese style. Exactly was I was looking for! It looks better in reality, than on the photos. The owners are very nice! They even brought us lot's of fruits. I would like to come and stay there again! Thanks a lot!"

"The main room was good. Great views and plenty of space to relax. The letdown was the bathroom. It was tiny with very dated fittings and nowhere to put toiletries. It was also at a higher level meaning a really big step down into the main room which was potentially a safety risk."

"This is the best Hostel to book on any budget. Since it is also a cafe the interior is upper nice and modern looking. As in the name, the interior is all made of wood and has that amazing wood smell that makes you feel so welcomed and at peace. The boy at the counter was super helpful and great at guiding me through the check in/ check out process. "This hotel is beautiful, with comfortable and clean rooms, wonderful public baths and great service. It is just minutes away from Horyuji temple. We would definitely stay there again, hopefully for more than 1 night!"

"The Yamabe allows for a cheap stay at close location of Tenri JR and Kintetsu stations. The proximity of the railway may bother the ones who want a quiet stay, as the train service runs from 5 am to 11 pm. Nonetheless, the hotel staff is friendly and the rooms are clean and have all is needed. For information, toilet and washing facilities are not comprised in the rooms. Although it did not pose me any problem, this may bother some. "

"Loved my stay here. It was clean and spacious plenty of room to pack all the goodies I bought. The staff were very friendly and were able to help us with all our needs and were easy to communicate with. It was in a little quieter of a street but super close to everything you’d need including dontunburi. The breakfast was pretty good and had decent amount of choices. Really appreciated the water fountain to refill our bottles"
