"had a quick overnight stay at the novotel. this hotel is my only recommendation if you are on a short stay as there is not much around the property the property itself is beautiful and very much a 4 star hotel and has everything you would need. i ordered room service and it arrived quickly and was tasty. would stay again on my next 1 day layover"

"After reading some reviews,I was reluctant to book the hotel but it was too late to cancel. I had the Superior Queen Room and it was excellent. This hotel was perfect and enjoyed every minute of it. The staffs were friendly and courteous. Christine at the reception was very helpful, friendly and knowledgeable about the city. Location was excellent as we were close to the train station and all the amenities were so close. The bus to the airport is just outside the hotel. I had a wonderful time during my stay."

"Hotel was very accessable from Ximending MRT. A minute walk to Ximending night market where we tried local delights and great shopping! We explored all the streets while strolling to the Taipei main station after a nice breakfast and full day of retail therapy.."

"Great hotel with super attentive staff. Room is very comfortable and has great amenities. The checkin was easy and the staff were always available to assist during our stay. Hotel is conveniently situated above Q Square which has a great selection of shops, restaurants and supermarkets. Train and Bus stations are also downstairs in the shopping mall. Perfect place to discover the city. Only thing this hotel could improve is their Gym, its not set up very well and the equipment is pretty bad.. Will definitely be back to this hotel next year!"
