"It was value for money. The hotel was a little tired but mostly clean and presentable. We very much appreciated a room upgrade but the chap that checked us in spoke in a robotic manner with little eye contact. The ladies at breakfast were friendly and helpful"

"Fantastic accommodation & service. We stayed in the cottage which had 2 double beds & a large shower room upstairs. Downstairs there was a large lounge with separate conservatory. A wonderful private garden with decking & sun loungers. We had breakfast & dinner in the hotel on both nights & the food was fantastic. The staff were equally wonderful & nothing was a problem for any of them. We were down for Crufts at the NEC & took a taxi which was about £20 each way. I would definitely...

"Lots of great things to rave about but the number one was the staff. They were exceptional, from the receiption to the restaurant, they really made our stay. Next to mention was the food which was top notch and our vegan was very well catered for. The spa was also very good, with a nice pool for splashing about as well as a modest sized gym. "Overall it was an enjoyable experience. however the view from the room window itself was terrible bins and rundown back of building. The sink and some tiles on floor were both cracked. It had clean bed. and I liked separate sleeping room for daughter. the restaurant was timeless classic. It had beautiful bar area and nice pool. grounds were fantastic. "
