"A quaint heritage home nestled into the historical town of midland. The accommodations were clean and comfortable. The hosts, Ross and Ginette were cordial, friendly and made you feel very welcomed in their home. The breakfast was delicious and tastefully presented. Highly recommended for any traveler vacationing or traveling through the area. "
"I will get over some of the thing's where this place can make an improvement such as housekeeping. The fridge was really dirty. I did call the front desk about it. One of the curtains was ripped. The iron was leaking water, and the exhaust fan in the washroom was making too noise, but front desk was notified about everything because the overall experience at this place was great. I did not mind staying at this place. The place and surrounding area is serene, quiet and beautiful Lakeview with a lot of activities for the kids. They have the pool and spa. A lot could be done and a lot of options for hiking, walking boating, canoeing, and boat paddling. The restaurant also has good food although they might want to add some flavour like salt(again food was cooked to perfection) I ordered Pickerel dish and kids had fish and chips that was so so good and burger… food tastes amazing. all things aside I will still recommend this place and I will def. give thus place another chance."
"The owner Kim and Doug have been extremely natural nice and helpful. They renovated their Bed and Breakfast to a super modern accommodation without compromising the feel of staying in a century home. When I say super modern, I refer to the bathrooms and the electrical. The choice of furniture and decor is very inviting and tastefully placed. Kim and Doug are still big time renovating and one of their next projects is the kitchen and I'm sure when done, will just look as beautiful as the rest of the place and replace the continental breakfast with a traditional breakfast. We'll be going back to stay there again and recommend this place highly. "
"I'm in good luck I think.
I got mixed reviews for this property. So worried about it before I left for it. But it's total different: very clean. I think that room was renovated recently. "
"I love every bit of stay I had at the resort with my family . The excellent service of staff, delicious food , cleanliness of room , and amenities the reason I would go back over again. Rocky Crest Resort is a perfect summer get away place that’s close to the city. "
