"The hotel and general area was very peaceful. The hospitality was great, and the staff made us feel right at home. The view from the hotel is amazing, being close to both the mountains and the lake. It was also very convenient to drive to beautiful cities, such as Bern, Thun, the local Brienz, and Grindelwald is also not too far. Certainly has a more cottage vibe, but it adds to the experience. Would 10/10 recommend for an authentic Swiss experience."

"Nice hotel. Great view of the lake. Hotel restaurant dinner was excellent and the staff were very attentive. Nice wine list. Self-checkin was a little weird. Room a nice size. Large bathroom. Perfect for small family. Only issue was the town clock tower is 25 meters away and very loud. It did not ring all night, but 200 bells at 0700 was a wake up!"

Opened the link on my phone and swiped the digital key to open the door. My concern was whether their WiFi would be working, which is needed to open the link. Cell signal on my phone was spotty there. Parking was in the rear of the hotel on parking spots with yellow lines. Coop market was next door, which was very convenient....

"We stayed here on our way to Basel for New Years and it was a quaint little hotel near a skiing hotspot. The fog in the area was quite thick so we unfortunately couldn’t take in the beauty of the area. The breakfast was rather limited compared to other places we stayed and parking was across the street in a shopping plaza lot but close enough not to be inconvenient. There were only a couple of restaurants that were open nearby and most people were in town for the skiing. Sad we couldn’t take one...
