"Overall nice hotel with very good breakfast. The rooms are spacious, clean and modern. I loved the shower. The only thing I didn’t like was two single duvets on a double bed. Breakfast was fantastic in terms of choices. Location wise it is close to the Minster and on the side of town that is convenient to go hiking in the hills/Black Forest. Slightly further to walk from the main train station, but still very close to most things. For what it offered was good value too."

"The front desk lady that checked us in was very nice. Limited parking out front, but it’s free and we got a spot. Rooms are nice, though a little dated. Slow internet, but you’re in the heart of the Black Forrest so it is what it is. Overall great location and friendly staff. I would absolutely recommend staying here. Easy short drive to the buses for the Christmas market too!"

"Very nice hotel with a great sauna that wasn’t super busy, restaurant had delicious food with a nice views, private beach on the lake was really enjoyable and even though our room was 300m up a very steep hill (and we had no car) the views were well worth it. Only downside was there was no spa treatments or massages available as the person was on leave. This town is definitely a place where you want to indulge in such activities, especially in peak August season. Would recommend staying here....
