"We stayed over the Christmas holiday. The staff, including housekeeping, restaurant and the saloon, were amazingly helpful and friendly. The room was charming and the beds were comfortable! It is an old building and must be treated with care. The elevator was not working. This was a good thing because our room was right next to it and didn’t have any noise problems. "The front desk person didnt answer the phone, i walked to the desk and he was ignoring the phone and playing on his phone. When i walked into the lobby, there was a woman in the lobby waiting to be helped, the front desk person was just out of sight playing on his phone ignoring her. I walked into the gift shop and could see him sitting there ignoring her. Only after i saw him sitting there did he respond to us.when i confronted him, he says he was working on his website."

"The employees were all fantastic. The hotel needs updating, the bathrooms are old and in need of total remodel. We had to be moved to a different room because the water would not shut off in shower and maintenance needed to replace the fixture. All employees were the best."
