"The best part of the room was the shower - look for the waterfall shower-head -- an unexpected luxury in an otherwise very basic room. I found the bed and pillow to be quite hard, and the breakfast was very basic Japanese fare (onigiri, miso soup, plain bun). "

"Newly remodeled double room. Great location to the station. Friendly staff speaks English. Enjoyed the unique pastry buffet and the coffee machine. Soothing & relaxing lightly fragraced bath salts available. Water bottle proved daily. Choose daily towel service or have the room cleaned. Stayed 4 nights & would stay again. Thank you!"

"this hotel is right by the beach, the area looks a little bit shady when coming at night, like a gentrified hipster area, but during the day you can see they have alot of shops and the free access to the onsen is wonderful, apparently on clear days you can see mt. fuji from the outdoor pool. the mini house room we stayed in was super cool and comfortable. and theres an amazing italian restaurant 5 min walking from the hotel called castigliona which is cash only so bring alot with you, but amazing! the breakfast is huge but very traditional japanese food, so be prepared for that. i really liked it."
