We had a nice stay, the lady of the house speaks very good english and is very friendly. The only drawback was the fact that our room was at the back, next to the laundryroom. This meant waking up at six in the morning because people were doing their laundry and it also meant that the WiFi didn’t quite reach that far. So no WiFi in that room! The sound of gunshots early in the morning was also disturbing. The homemade bread and marmelades for breakfast were delicious!
Lovely warm farm stay
Wonderful experience
Staff were well trained with good English speaking skill
Dinner and breakfast are fresh and delicious
Room is not comparable to hotels. Again this is a farm, do expect it’s a farm type of room. So I feel comfortable and warm stay
The farm has lots of stuff for you to explore
Sheep, berry picking etc
Nice farm stay, but there are a lot of insects such as beetles in the rooms. And my legs were bitten by the insects. Nothing much to do in the autumn season.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Yorkshire Farm. The host Michiko took good care of us even before our arrival by emailing us with info of dinner arrangement. We were a lil late but Michiko wasn’t mind at all by delaying our dinner till we arrived.
Dinner was amazing. Best lamb on earth!! After dinner, she gave good recommendations on the best Onsen in the area. She stayed up late till we arrived safely past midnight.
Breakfast was available either 0730 or 0800. We then had a great farm experience touring their berries farm and playing with their sheeps. You can rent their bikes and enroll to their Shephard experience programme. But since we need to rush to our next destination, we had to leave. But I’m sure we will be back soon in winter. The farm is actually very closed to a ski resort. I’d love to check out the ski trails next time instead of going to Niseko.
A nice B&B on a working sheep farm. You are welcome to wander through the farm to the river that runs along behind it (boots are available). The rooms are basic, but comfortable. The dinner was excellent.
Living in the farm, you can see sheep. Comfortable environment.
Dinner is very good in particular the soup. If you do not eat lamb pork, you can ask in advance to change to another meat.
The inn is on a farm in the outskirt of Obihiro. It had a lot of sheep on the farm. One of the activities is to watch and feed sheep. The inn manager serves lamb stake for dinner. The portion of dinner and breakfast might be a little bit small. The room is moderately furnished.
This is exactly eat it sounds like; a little country sheep farm with guest rooms. The hosts have fine an excellent job furnishing the rooms and the food at the restaurant is to die for (I think you'd like this lamb steak even if you don't normally eat lamb). You can go out and pet the sheep and sheep dogs, and you are welcome to pick fresh berries from the garden in season. Our host spoke English and was very helpful; this was a great one night stop.
The owner is very polite and helpful. The house is in good shape and well decorated as a cozy country style mansion, and the sheeps are simply adorable! I have loved this farm.
