"Htel was clean with a good bar to relax in. Room was clean, warm and the beds were comfortable. The pressure in the shower wasnt very strong. We were in room 28 on the ground floor and the room above had very loud creaking floorboards which kept us awake as theperson in the room was moving about until 2am then up at 6am! "This was our best stay on our whole trip to Scotland. While, it was a little off the beaten path, it provided a quiet, cosy oasis after we had been staying in towns in lodges without parking for our car. Achmore had ample parking on site. "Beautiful location across from the old harbour. Great for walks in lovely scenery, cycling and beach. Decent restaurant for dinner. A busy Saturday night and a little understaffed. Breakfast was very disorganized despite having to preorder the night before for a set time. Everyone waited for coffee and food (help yourself buffet) also ran out several times.
