"Very much an Air B’nB property with a long set of rules and no engagement with staff but perfectly placed to explore the Hakone area. Train station and bus stop within couple of minutes walk, as was Hakone Open Air Museum and 7/11. Even better, a brewery is next door! House itself is fantastic and modern. "

"The property exceeded my expectations. The only complaint I have is that some of the entries in their complementary guidebook led to some wasted time due to inaccuracies. I would definitely go to this accomodation again but I hope by then they have updated their book. Also there's the apparent fact that no public onsen seem to be in the area, so you should probably plan for going to hakone yamoto (hope I spelled that right) to get access to those.
