"Staff very friendly and helpful. Spacious room. Plenty of parking. Down sides, restaurant was closed for a function, we did not know until arriving at check in desk. This did not impact us this time but may impact others. Hotel is out of Salisbury town centre, but there are bus stops very close to the hotel . Buses are frequent and very reasonable. This makes the hotel accessible to town. Would I use the hotel again? - Yes "

"Characterful old building, with modern facilities and excellent staff. Dinner was great - especially steak and South African specials - best to book a table."

"Excellent hotel in good condition. Reception staff was cheerful and efficient. Good room full of interest and charm, it made us smile. Hotel dining room was very nice, the quality of the evening meal was superb and high quality as was the dining room staff. Very happy to stay here again. "

"Comfortable studio apartment. Convenient laundry facility. Walking distance to several restaurants. Not too far to walk to some attractions, such as the cathedral."

"A really beautiful hotel and location. The room was in good condition and the grounds and hotel was well looked after. The only draw backs were that the bathroom light was on a sensor timer which meant it stayed on longer than desired and there was also a very large puddle covering the entrance to the hotel but this could have been due to the very heavy rain."

"Lovely staff and a great Indian restaurant downstairs. Nice rooms, but not particularly well maintained or cleaned. 24 hour access is through a door at the bottom of the main stairwell that exits into the rear car park. One thing to note - breakfast is not offered here, but there is a Budgeons just down the road that opens at 7am and they have fresh pastries and a Costa machine. "
