"We had a great time at the Best Western!!! My son was at the Convention Center, and we needed a lower priced alternative. Best Western was fantastic. The hotel was very nice. "Very warm and welcoming history-laden hotel with many unique offerings. The condition of my room and the common areas was excellent, both from a cleanliness and appointments perspective. Some of the carpets and woodwork in the hallways and elevator are in need of a little TLC, but it's understandable in a post-COVID world with an independent hotel that's probably faced a number of financial challenges. The staff was friendly and check-in was fast and pleasant."

"Very nice place to stay! Very friendly staff! Very clean and easy check in and check out process. Parking is 65$ vallet only at the hotel. But a parking garage about a half a block (3 min walk) is only 15$ overnight parking! I will definitely stay there again when I come back to San Diego! "

"Im honestly surprised there are some bad reviews. The service was amazinf and I had no idea it was a marriott hotel. Shoutout to Rebecca and the other staff who printed out some papers for me. THey also gave us a welcome treat. Great location as well"
