Recently stayed 5 nights in Seoul at the Hotel President. Location wise is fantastic. A 10 min walk to MyeongDong shopping/street food. Check in/check out was adequate. Not overly friendly. Doing their job well though. Room blew my mind. 60sqm. 2 bedroom. 1 bathroom/2 toilets was absolutely perfect for a 5 night stay. Bed very comfortable and pillows soft as clouds. Beautiful. Highly recommended and would definitely stay again. 10/10

The room was okay. It was pretty clean but the room hat some small damages (bathtub had some minor flaws) and spots (ceiling). I liked that the staff was really nice and that the hotel is right at City Hall which is really convenient! I didn’t like that the walls were so thin! You could hear everything from the other rooms and from the hallways which made it unbearable to sleep some nights because it was too loud!

Had the hotel book me a taxi to the airport at 430am and was told the trip would cost 80,000won. When we reached the airport and wanted to pay by cash, gave 100,000won and taxi driver didn’t give us the change claiming he had no small notes. Even insulted us by wanting to give the change back in Japanese yen thinking we’re stupid. If the hotel works with such taxi companies/drivers, it also speaks volume about their professionalism.

This location was amazing, central to everything basically, and the room was comfortable and quiet. As many others have said the staff are not warm or very helpful, and the breakfast is not great - skip it and go to the kimbap shop around the corner.

The location is excellent but the staffs are rude and unhelpful. They charge for early arrival 11,000 won per hour! When I asked if they can call a taxi for me, they told me they only call taxi if I go to airport.
