The homestay is decorated in a Japanese Indian style very peaceful elegant and intentional with big rooms overlooking the green mountain side dotted with temples. (Nov 14, 2022) When he arrived on the property, he asked the manager/owner for use of the bathroom (after his 6-hr car ride) before checking-in. "The Tara Niwas was a fabulous hotel. Staff were excellent and the property had a very relaxing feel. There was some outside space to relax. Food was very good and reasonably priced. The hotel exceeded our expectations and I would have no hesitation staying here again."

"What a gem of a place! Right in the city centre but secluded and very quiet. It’s located in a posh neighbourhood.staff are very friendly and accommodations and go above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect. Clean spacious rooms and the whole property resembles a colonial property. Delicious homemade local dishes served in their onsite restaurant. Great WiFi. We spent two nights there and wish we could spend bit longer in Jaipur. Hopefully next time round."
