"Location: very convenient, can walk to Albert hall, city palace, Hawaii mahal etc. Also close to a lot of clothing and accessories shop Comfort: has unlimited hot water which is rare in India at this price point. Has all amenities but toilet does smell like the sewer a bit with cockroach. Environment: has nice rooftop bar with live music, but does get quite loud and room soundproofing is not great. All and all would still recommend it."

"Great location to explore the city (15-minute walk to the City Palace, Hawa Mahal, etc). It is located on a busy corner which has its perks and disadvantages. The staff is very helpful and kind, the room was clean and delicious food was available at the restaurant for breakfast. We struggled a bit with getting hot water in the shower but that’s probably on us! "

"This property is a great find. Amazing hosts who are very friendly. The home-cooked food (I had dinner and breakfast there) was simply amazing and reminded of my home. A home away from home with a Rajasthani royal cultural heritage living in style. Kudos to the hosts who took extra interest in explaining a bit about the history, showing us around, taking us around to get us some excellent amazing hot milk from a traditional vendor of more than 50 years and of course nice paan as well. A must...

"A fantastic historic building set in the middle of a busy market with a roof top terrace to enjoy a sunset drink and views. The matriarch of the house kept a watchful eye over her staff during mealtimes and talked to us about the old family pictures on the walls. The only thing we didn’t like was the pushy receptionist/manager who was always trying to sell us drivers/tours through his own company which we had to pay for by cash. "

"We had an incredible, amazing experience staying at the hotel. The palace transported you into a long ago era and let you experience what it feels like to live as a Maharaja or one of his royal dignitaries. The staff was super friendly and went out of their way to accommodate our every needs. The food was unforgettable. We still talk about our meal experiences at the palace. A definite bucket list type of experience."

"Everything was amazing! ✨✨✨ The staff, especially Shantanu, couldn't be more helpful. Very good English so easy communication. They responded to our messages and answered our questions very promptly. The location is good and very quiet. Room was clean and bed was comfortable. "Diggi is a beautiful oasis in the frenetic hustle of Jaipur’s Pink City. You feel like they are looking out for you like family. Our huge room had a wonderful private courtyard and marble and endless beauty everywhere. I wouldn’t stay anywhere else! "

"Upon my arrival I had to request to change the bed linens. They were not cleaned and obviously not changed after previous occupants departure. The restaurant service was less than unacceptable. Seven persons in the kitchen, numerous servants and no guests in the dining room, still took 45 to serve one small cup of soup and half burned bread. "

"Very helpful staff, friendly and very willing to give you advice about the city and what to do but not working with any tour guides to sell you things - free advice. The place was clean and comfortable with easy access to the metro, train and bus station. Would stay again. "

"We spent one night here in January 2025. The hotel (the vibe is more of a guesthouse) is tucked behind the Jhori Bazaar, and it’s a very pleasant experience walking into the tranquil front garden and exiting the bustle of the surrounding area. The building is quite pretty and unique, and the owner, Vikram, was exceptionally helpful and communicative. He texted me before our arrival, sent a porter to greet us on the street (it would be quite difficult to find on your own), and arranged a car to pick us up for a very early flight the next day. At the recommendation of other travelers, we also had the home-cooked dinner at the hotel, which was delicious (650 INR/person, and we were able to have some friends staying elsewhere come and join us). An interesting note: Our initial walk to the hotel included a dirt path, but overnight the street had been paved! The location is very convenient. We enjoyed strolling through the bazaar and over to the Hawa Mahal and City Palace. The streets are very busy, but you can cross the major thoroughfare through the metro station. The room was comfortable enough. A little tight, some peeling paint, and sheets were a bit coarse (though I have no doubt the staff would have rectified this if we stayed another night). You can hear *everything* going on in the hotel—it’s an old and open building. I strongly recommend headphones or earplugs. This is not a western hotel, but it has a great location, great service, and great vibes. Would return."

Not worth the money. Terrible experience.

"The hotel is in pathetic condition. They dont care about the experience at all. Our rooms were not cleaned before we checked in. Washroom had a burnt cigarette on the floor. Bedsheet was torn. Lamp was broken. The tv was not working. This is when we paid the price of a good hotel. The only reason its alive is because its in the middle of the market. But for what they charge and the service they provide its not worth it. Better to look for some other hotel and visit the market. "
