"The staff was friendly and very helpful. The property is clean. The food was excellent for the price overall it’s a great place to stay. The live music was excellent. The only issue I had was the pigeons and birds in the outside dining."

"Sweet apartment/hotel, ideal for long stays. Fully equipped kitchen with full size fridge and a gas cooktop. Nice pool and a large covered common area when you want to be out of the sun. Out of the hustle and bustle, a short walk to the beach, local restaurants and convenience stores nearby and buses to the Zona Dorada and Centro Histórico. 2nd time we've stayed the Marena, and we'll be back ."

"Dinning was very good.I loved staying around the pool. With the serving people and the activities guys . I did not liked service at the beach , we were there about an hour and one offer their service to us.that was the only bad thing at this resort."

"The maintenance personnel keep the hotel very clean all the time, inside and out. Very nice people in all areas, front desk, cleaning people, security, during breakfast. Only suggestion is please keep ice maker with ice all the time. We got ice one day and another day it was empty. It is August and it is very hot, but AC in the room was great. "

"Great hotel, close to everything. Room was nice with a great view. However I have to say the beds were very hard. They close one of the two pools everyday at different times for different periods of time. Seems to be no pattern. Just a small inconvenience , but overall a nice hotel with friendly staff. "

"If you are fond of walking and experiencing the beach on foot, this property is for you. Unfortunately, they are renovating and this causes lack of attention to detail to the common areas (landscaping, paint jobs, the floors and overall hotel infrastructure in or around the pool). The rooms are clean and easy access to local restaurants and amenities is what keeps us coming back. Just to quote real state agents “Location, location, location”. "
