"What a lovely, friendly hotel. From the night manager to the restaurant staff & day reception staff you couldn’t meet a friendlier more helpful bunch. I stayed for one night with my two children in a really cute & quirky double bunk bed and wished we could have stayed longer"

"We only stayed one night but could easily have stayed for longer. From the moment we arrived, the staff were super friendly and looked after us attentively. The room had a view of the lake and was comfortable and clean. The restaurant for dinner and breakfast was excellent with a good selection, fabulous ingredients, and presentation. Topped off by a stunning location, well worth a stop. It was our wedding anniversary whilst we were there and all the staff were so kind to us. Thank you. "

"Really enjoyed our stay here. It's right in the middle of the main shopping and dining area, and was the perfect location for us. The rooms are clean and comfy, and the staff is very helpful. They don't do breakfast, but give each guest a little goodie bag each morning. The pub downstairs is lively and fun, but not too loud."

"Absolutely loved it. I stayed in room 12. It's a beautiful room, big bed, excellent bathroom boasting villeroy and boch sanitaryware. From the moment i walked in, i had a lovely friendly greeting and all the staff were very attentive and friendly. Food was top notch..i had eggs benedict for breakfast both mornings and highly recommend it. It's a lovely pub with a working waterwheel outside and a cosy log burner which i enjoyed sitting by whike reading a book and having a drink. My only gripe...

"Our room was comfortable and clean. The staff were very friendly and the hotel was in a quiet location. Only disappointment was not being aware that they did not do dinners on Mondays to Wednesdays, which coincided with our stay. "

Ensure you take a screenshot of your booking confirming the inclusion of a free breakfast, as we were informed after our evening meal that it wasn’t included, resulting in an additional on top of the £200 room rate we already paid through hotels.com. "Wonderful hosts. Delicious and abundant breakfast. Room was fine, but smelled a bit musty in places. They did have air fresheners in the room to help mask the smell. Overall great place though and would stay here again."

"Fantastic. We stayed at the Highlands Suites 2 years ago and that was great but this was better. Amazing location, easy to find and navigate. Clean, well appointed and spacious for our family of 5. Grocery Shopping at M&S is always an adventure, restaurants on the river are easily walkable and Main Street shopping is right outside the door. Parking is offsite at the Eastgate Ctr but worked fine. Much less Agro than on premises parking at Highlands Suites. Excellent, Excellent… highly recommend. "
