Because we were travelling by train, our first criteria in finding a hotel was to be close to the train station so we would not need to drag our luggage a great distance. This location was perfect. "The view of the city, lake, and snow-covered mountains was so breathtakingly beautiful, we found it hard to leave the window (with balcony!) in our room. When we did, we used the hotel's complimentary bus ticket to explore the town--one of the most lovely and special we have experienced in Europe.
