"Bologna is a lot more touristy than most reviews would lead you to believe. Weekends and evenings are hectic. The hotel is in a fairly tourist friendly area. The staff are good and the hotel is exactly what it claims to be, a good four star hotel. "Gorgeous hotel situated around 20 mins walk from the Bologna centre. Staff were friendly, polite and helpful, and room was spacious and lovely. Breakfast was great too. Try to get a room higher up as the views are great. This means getting one facing away from the road (which can be a little bit noisy). Definitely recommend. "

"Well located apartments on the edge of the city centre but also not far from the train station. Apartment for 2 people was spacious with a small kitchen in the living area with fridge, microwave and electric hob. Communication from the staff before arriving was helpful and during the stay. "Stayed here for an overnight on our way through the area. Easy to get to from Autostrada. We ate dinner here because we didn't want to have to go in search of a restaurant after the day's long drive. It was excellent, especially the Bolognese style lasagna.
