"This was not quite what was expected, and we were not the demographic usually targeted. The room was basic and clean. The laundry was very welcomed. Please do not stay here on a Saturday if you need to go to sleep early. The property hosted a big, loud event, with music thumping through the rooms until 11:30. Hotel guests seem to be a secondary consideration here. The passageways smelt manky, and the carpeting and floors needed a thorough vacuum. Dust and gunk everywhere. "

We ate dinner here because we didn't want to have to go in search of a restaurant after the day's long drive. It was excellent, especially the Bolognese style lasagna.
