"The hotel is on the older side. The pictures of the hotel doesn't do any justice. Need updated photos of room. Nice bigger rooms than the typical Japanese hotel rooms but the amenities of the room is outdated. The smell of the toilet smells like the sewer. The tub was old and it moved. When i entered the tub, it moved. We just stayed at the Hotel Grand Fontaine at Haneda Airport and it was very nice. Smaller room but nicer and the same price. It was a newer hotel but i highly recommend that...

"Exceptional hospitality, food, and amenities - It's a highlight of our trip. When we arrived at property, almost entire staff greeted us on the street by the entrance. Kaiseki meals were wonderful. The second floor recreation room was a happy place to be -Zen garden view, delicious snacks, drinks, and late night soup... The rooms were clean and spacious. Onsen pools were nice, especially the roof top one. We look forward to our next trip there"

"The hotel is very clean and the room size is adequate for two. Lack of a proper closet and drawers to store your clothing is inconvenience and a minus. The hotel is very close to the Sapporo Train Station and its connecting hugh underground shopping complex - within walking distance. There is a underground walking tunnel leading to a building right next to the Hotel - this is very helpful especially in the winter cold weather and snow. The hotel should emphasize that this underground walking...
