"Reading some previous us reviews I am not sure what some people are expecting when they book an historic hotel? This is a beautiful individual old building furnished in a delightful appropriate manner. Yes, it is a little dark but that's how it was 500 years ago. We were welcomed by Eva and shown where to park. All the staff could not have been more helpful. It has a lovely little bar and serves a lovely breakfast. The situation is right in the centre of the old town, which is wonderful...

"A charming hotel with good views over the bay and port. Well situated, a short distance from both the train station and ferry terminal. Everything in walking distance, including good coffee shops and eateries."

"Parking was far from the hotel, although you could park in front of the hotel, unload and then go and park the car, but it was not close. The hotel was comfortable but a bit noisy in the evening. The location was great and convenient. For the price I would recommend this place."
