"The Villas Camelot properties are a little tired, and a little dated, but in general they are quiet, clean, spacious, relatively well equipped and private. All things considered, they represent good value for money. However, it should be noted that it’s a fairly decent 20 to 30min trek from the Villas into Rubicon Marina and back, so for those not really into a decent walk, a hire car is a good option."

"We recently stayed at Estrellas de Gredos and were really disappointed. The place has stunning mountain views and a traditional curved ceiling, but a lot of things went wrong. The biggest issue was a broken sliding door that wouldn’t lock. When we told the staff, they showed up unannounced at 22:00 and just said it was safe to leave it unlocked, which didn't sit right with us. The inside felt cheap too. The kitchen had flimsy Ikea stuff that looked like it could fall apart any minute. The...
