"The location, the grounds and the lovely Staab House bar were the best things about the stay. Our king bed fireplace room was fine but very small. Plastic cups in the bathroom and paper cups for the a espresso felt a bit like a typical budget hotel, not a luxury resort. There was an industrial motor/humming sound much of the night in our room. On the bright side, we had the pool and hot tub to ourselves on February 1! Every staff person was excellent— friendly and helpful. "

"The man at the front was rude to us from the start. Once we got into our room it was nasty the mattress was brown and lumpy. The room was not cleaned there was hair on the bathroom floor and it smelled very musty. We decided to leave because we didn’t feel comfortable sleeping here and the front guy made it very clear we were unable to get a refund. Overall bad experience. "
