The Hyatt Place Santa Fe used to be exceptional, however, this last stay was more average. Cleanliness is always at the top of our list and we found the room in excellent shape! The breakfast food selection is always outstanding and the staff works very hard to keep the area in tip top condition. The issues we had on this stay were: They are now charging a $4 parking fee per vehicle. And their pet fee is now $75!! This is much higher than other hotels we regularly stay in. We also noticed the chairs in the dining area were very worn, as were several pieces of furniture in our room. Side tables mostly. There aren't enough plug outlets near the beds to charge cells, etc. There were storage pods in half of the parking spaces so it was difficult to find a space for the vehicles. The hotel is acceptable. It's just not as nice as it used to be.

Enjoyed the included breakfasts - fresh eggs/bacon/sausage, hot oatmeal with fixings. Room a bit dated/tired looking. Unfortunately we were in a first floor room across from one of the event spaces - had one very noisy night - hotel stated they would notify Expedia to credit us for that one night's stay - that never happened.

The room was nice but not properly cleaned… the toilet seat was dirty from the last people and the floors didn’t look mopped. the blinds are transparent and the discount tire next door has a loud telephone ringing all day so don’t plan on sleeping in. the swimming pool was kinda stinky. The free breakfast was pretty good however. Also housekeeping busted in the room this morning while we were sleeping even though we had the do no disturb thing hung on the door?? Never had that happen before, good thing we weren’t naked lol.

Great staff and great location. Breakfast is excellent. Unfortunately it did take 20 minutes for the water to heat up in the shower and the faucet in the faucet was a milky white.
