"Although it felt like this hotel was far away from shops, etc., it actually wasn't once we started walking around the area. And despite being close to a university, there didn't seem to be too much traffic. The hotel lobby is very modern and the employees are always available to assist (and speak English quite well). When it comes to the room, our view overlooked the park, which was nice, but the room itself was quite cramped. I understand that many hotel rooms in Japan are small in size, but...

"This hotel offers an excellent view of the Shibuya Crossing and is part of the Times Square-like Shibuya central area with easy access to the light rail system. The only reason for the 4-star rating is that our room was a bit small and dated and did not offer 5-star amenities (e.g. a decent coffee maker). With that said, it is super convenient to the Shibuya hood and, if you are not intimidated by the rail transit system, the rest of the city (e.g. the Ginza). The staff is super accommodating....

"This place did the job. Staff was nice and we appreciated that laundry was free and that there were scales to weigh luggage. It was also helpful being able to park 3 full size beds together for our toddler. However the rooms were a little run down - paint cracking and water damage on the walls. Not in the best area for accessing all of Shinjuku, either. Probably wouldn’t stay again. "
