"For the most part it was great, have to remember that it is MEXICO. A bit noisy. Had to turn on the water heater and pull out and plug in the refrigerator but it served its purpose. Clean, spacious, and traditional. I’ve stayed here in the past and would definitely stay here again. "

"Bathrooms need to be more clean and beds need linens along with towels need to be in newer condition. Everything needs to be checked before a new party comes in because 1/3 bathrooms shower and sink were super dirty. "

"Daniel, the property owner was constantly maintaining, and performing up keep tobthe grounds, while were were out around town enjoying our vacation. Excellent host, great property. The stay was actually the highlight of our trip. Highly recommend!"

"The condo is gorgeous, very clean and well stocked. One of the most beautiful condos we have stayed in. Communication was difficult and this could be improved by having a phone number to call or text instead of relying on email. It took days and almost a dozen emails to get late check out approved. We were not advised until check in day that pool was not usable. But would stay again in a heartbeat because of the comfort, beauty and amenities the condo provides."

"I would not stay here again. the freezer was frozen and leaked on the floor. no extra blankets, the bathroom was not clean and had hair on the flor and hair on the shower floor. The place should have been half the price with the condition it was in. the worst stay I have ever had with an expedia property !"

"Beautiful location and property. Rooms are nice, with spacious bathroom with two showers and a Jacuzzi, located in a small enclosed patio. For a bit more money I recommend getting a room with a terrace with a view - our room was below level and therefore had no view a was a bit dark. The breakfast was nice, with eggs and chilaquiles and some fresh fruit. The employees were all very nice and quick to respond. We got aasaage package at the hotel; the masseuses did a great job. "

"Incredibly charming little hotel. Feels more like a bed and breakfast. The staff are so friendly. A block from the boardwalk/park for a peaceful walk by the lake. The area is very walkable and there are lots of dining and bar options. We will definitely stay here when we return. Ajijic is a magical place tucked away in a mountain valley. Worth the trip for sure! "
