"Patrick at the Registration was very welcoming! I drove to San Diego for work! He knew from the traffic and the drive I looked discombobulated. I arrived late due to traffic and lane closures. In other words, I ran in traffic for 3 hrs. Without hesitation, he made my registration smooth and gave me directions to my room and open cafe to have snacks. That’s the way to greet guests!!!! "
"This hotel is in a great location to lots of things to do. I stayed in a room with a bay view and it was beautiful. The rooms have balconies and it was wonderful leaving the balcony door open to let in the ocean breeze. Room is comfortable and clean but my shower did not drain. Definitely recommend this place. "
The Guild Hotel, San Diego, A Tribute Portfolio Hotel by Marriott
10/10 Excellent
"I stayed at this property for a conference that was happening at the Manchester Hyatt. I was able to grab coffee and a croissant and walk the half a mile to the conference center. The neighborhood is safe and it was a lovely walk each morning and afternoon. Staff was wonderful. The only caveat was that on Fridays and Saturdays they have club music going (I assume) as I could feel the bass thumping. Otherwise, the room was pretty insulated from noise. The bed was comfy. Climate control was nice. I had great hot showers. Overall definitely worth a stay. "
"My only complaint is that the bed is very hard and uncomfortable. The restaurant Hudson & Nash has very few selections for dinner but the food was tasty. Everything else was great. "
