The rooms are clean and comfy, but unconventional. We really liked being able to use the library of books and maps and beach gear (chairs, coolers, towels, snorkel equip) for our play time, and love that they have "leftover lotion and bug spray" available for guest use. "Amazing view, loved the style with dark wood trim/doors, arches and turret windows. Comfy bed, soft sheets, loved the stone patio and nooks. Had a grwat breeze and no need for a/c. Slept with windows open and could here the wind, waves, birds and frogs. Great time, so relaxing."

"5 star resort with 2 star service. Some of the wait staff were rude and combative, which is very disappointing considering the price you are paying for drinks and food. Beach and property were amazing. Still had a great time, but likely won't go back. "

"This is unit in an older NOLA style building on the 2nd floor. Unit is somewhat dated. The layout is a little funky but overall the living space and porch are great for a big group. We had six adults and it worked perfectly. Short walk to bars, shops and restaurants. Nice neighborhood. Awesome communication from the manager. Overall, great place to stay. "

"Loved the location and being right on the beach with a great bar called The Shack with great food and very friendly bartenders. Magens Bay which is one of the best beaches in the world is 10 min away. The best restaurant on the island called Fish Bar is 5 min away and there's a grocery store even closer on the same road. This was everything I hoped it would be and more and we will be back. Make sure you rent a car and I wouldn't call it kid friendly. "

"This is the cutest little place. It is quaint and the staff was great. It's a studio type room, but it's clean and the view of the ocean was amazing. A/c, tv, internet all worked well. Close to shopping and restaurants. It's not fancy, but it is incredibly charming. I highly recommend this place if you are looking for a safe, quiet, clean room with some beautiful views. "

"We spent three nights at Mafolie Resort. Due to wind damage, the bar and restaurant were not open all hours. The friendly staff, tried to create options for food and drink. The hotel is a little “rustic”, but we enjoyed everything about it. We never had an issue with parking. As described, the views are phenomenal. This is like a bed and breakfast/ boutique hotel combined. "
