"Good location, just 50m or so from the Quay front, great staff allround, but room was ok, but adequate only, for price charged. Dog friendly, which was critical for us, but £10 surcharge charged. Lack of hotel parking wasn't too much of an issue as large multistorey within c.400m, but does add any £10 cost to the visit"

"I stayed here because my dance class at Claverton is near and Beckington was easy to get to off the A36. The staff were super friendly and the dinner I had was lovely, hot and well cooked. My only critique is that I had asked whether my room was in a quiet location and it actually wasn't. The noise from the bar was very loud and went on until after 11:30 which spoiled my visit a bit. I also think that an upgrade of the bathroom is probably due for room 4."

"Firstly we have stayed here before and had a wonderful experience. The property is old and consequently does not have that modern minimalistic feel to it. I think the beds could do with replacing as you can feel the springs through the mattress topper. The stairs are a challenge on par with climbing Snowden. So why did we come back? "Great location, finding parking wasn’t bad although it did cost us £25 to park for one night. The room didn’t have an expresso machine as advertised and we only had one coffee each on arrival and that was it. Would have been nice to have more coffee and milk. Minor details but makes the difference. Overall though, was satisfied with the stay and location. "
