"Staff was helpful and friendly. My major issue was with the dining process. The a la carte restaurants, Oriental Fusion, Mediterranean, Latin Fusion, Atlantis can only be booked/reserved once in a 7 day stay. Breakfast, lunch and other dinners are served in El Lago, the buffet restaurant. I walk with a brace on my left leg and use a cane with my right hand, making it difficult to get my food and bring it to the table. No options for a sit down meal."

"The staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. The resort was clean, peaceful, and relaxing! The food was Very Good! We Had the BEST Sancocho everrrr! It was our first time there and was well worth it! The manager/ Director Mass does a Great Job! The staff is well trained and pleasant to deal with. We Would definitely recommend this place when in the Dominican Republic and looking for a Beautiful & elegant resort to stay at! Great Job Marriott Miches!!!"

"Excellent place to relax. Good views and food. Only negative that your balcony is close to your neighbors and there is no privacy. Other than that everything was great. "

"We recently stayed at this hotel and were impressed by the beautiful property. The grounds were well-maintained, and the beachfront location made for a relaxing getaway. My wife and I especially enjoyed spending time on the beach and appreciating the scenic surroundings. The food at the hotel was okay, but we found better dining options in the nearby town. Despite that, our overall experience was very enjoyable, and we would consider returning in the future."

"I don’t think there are enough words to express how STUNNING this property was! My husband and I didn’t want to go home! We wanted to stay here forever! The staff was extremely friendly! Some of the nicest and attentive staff I’ve ever experienced on this island! The property manager is on top of everything and makes sure all her guest are having a great stay! They pay attention to detail! Not only is the property beautiful but the staff also makes this place what it is! Can’t wait to go back! "

"I felt comfortable, despite initial problem with my reservation through Expedia (which took 3 calls to resolve), and some construction noise. I stayed 4 nights in the 6bed dorm room. I miss the hostel dog Amazon, the most. It's a very basic hostel but staff/volunteers/owner/guests were very nice. There's a water shortage in Samana so no long hot showers, or even much water cold water due to weak water pressure. Wifi was intermittent at times. Breakfast was good, something different every...

"Had an amazing time. Though towards the end of our trip, staff member removed our towels from the chairs on the beach even though person next to us told member we just went walking on the beach and pointed towards direction we headed. "

Overall, very very satisfied.

"The staff and the grounds and our condo were far above average. We felt that, compared to nearby hotels where we have stayed in past years, Alisei offered a better experience for the money. Our condo had some repairs that were needed but it didn't detract from our experience. We felt safe, happy, satisfied and well taken care of. Note that at the time of our visit the guests were mostly retirees or families with young children. "

"Property was clean and beautiful. Staff was very nice. Ebikes did not work for the entire week we were there. Lighting in the bathroom is not very good. Food at the buffet was good to excellent most of the time. It was a challenge to make a reservation in one of the al-la-carte restaurants so we didn't visit any of them. I had read that English is widely spoken. This was not true. Best to know spanish if you want to converse with the staff. Area surrounding the resort is poor and dirty but there is no need to leave the resort. We didn't do any excursions but others who did liked them."

"This place is paradise. The hotel is perfect, recently renovated. The staff is beyond amazing with a perfect smile on their faces all the time. The rooms are very spacious and comfortable. Their Dominican breakfast is really delicious. The beach, I have no words. Service at the restaurant by Arelys and Horton was top. The receptionists are also super helpful. Security to enter the property makes you feel really safe. I’m definetely coming back. "
