"For our first visit to Sapa, we are so happy we stayed at the Bamboo Hotel! It is conveniently located for both trekking and the amenities of Sapa. The rooms were clean, the food was great and the onsite spa was a delight. By far, the best part though was the staff. They were all so wonderful but in particular, Julie at the front desk went above and beyond for us every chance she had. She even went as far as hand delivering a birthday cake (with a song!). "Staff was wonderful and location was good. Room was nice size for the price but dated. Room smelled musty but has to be because of the area and weather. Was a good place to call home base while we stayed in Sapa since you dont go there to spend time in the room anyway. "

"Watch out when booking this complex as they give you a room in their 2nd complex behind the front one so no view etc. Quite deceiving. The pool is a waste of time, no where to put your towel, no atmosphere & very cold. Would not waste my time staying out of the centre to stay here when better options for much cheaper."
